Tuberous sclerosis (MRI and FDG-PET)

Tuberous sclerosis complex in a 5-year-old female with T2 hyperintensity in multiple areas (A). The FDG-PET hypometabolism in the right temporal lobe extends past the tuber, suggesting an epileptogenic zone that, when resected, resulted in good seizure control. (Image from: Lee KK, Salamon N.
