White matter abnormalities (FLAIR MRI) (3)

FLAIR MRI of the brain identifies marked periventricular changes as well as extensive subcortical white matter changes in an elderly male. Hypertension was the patient’s sole vascular risk factor of this patient with clinical features of mild cognitive impairment and gait disorder. (Contributed by Dr. Cory Toth.)
