Multiple microbleeds (gradient echo)

T2-weighted gradient-echo images show multiple foci of signal intensity loss (microbleeds) in the basal ganglia and cerebral hemispheres. In addition, intracerebral hemorrhage is evident in the left putamen. (Contributed by Dr. Ravindra Kumar Garg.)
