Neuropharmacology & Neurotherapeutics
Neuropharmacology is the study of the effects of drugs on the nervous system and aims to develop compounds to benefit humans with psychiatric and neurologic disease. Pharmacokinetic parameters determine the pharmacodynamics, ie, pharmacological response, by interaction between the drug and the receptor. The practice of personalized neurology requires matching the most suitable drugs to individual patients.
