Toxoplasmosis: cellular deposits in the vitreous

Persons with retinal manifestations of toxoplasmosis may have from three to seven reactivations of the retinochoroiditis during a lifetime. This picture shows an active lesion with the typical cellular deposits in the vitreous. This appearance gives rise to the label of “a headlight in the fog.” (Contributed by Dr. Rosa Tang.)
